It’s already been a long season for me (I’m a Jets fan). But that won’t hinder me from loving and watching football. The talent of the players always reels me back in. That’s why I love playing DraftKings. It gives me a reason to watch the best athletes in the world and win money at the same time.
Avoid the stress of doing countless hours of research and create a winning lineup on DraftKings with help from myself and our fantasy insiders on the Sneaky Plays Podcast!
You like money. Who doesn’t?
Here are some under-the-radar players that can help you win the money you deserve in Week 3.
Mason Rudolph – QB, PIT
Opponent – San Francisco 49ers
Price – $4,800
Mason Rudolph came in and replaced Big Ben last week and did a formidable job against a stingy Seattle defense. He tossed 2 TDs and finished the game with a 12.2 fantasy points in just one half of football.
Rudolph heads into this Week 3 matchup against the 49ers with a full week of practice with the starters. Priced at only $4,800, I like his chances to put up between 17 and 19 fantasy points, making him an absolute steal and saving you money for those necessary skill position players.
Frank Gore – RB, BUF
Opponent – Cincinnati Bengals
Price – $4,400
Frank Gore – the ageless wonder. This man simply will not quit. Why should he? The dude can still BALL.
With fellow RB Devin Singletary sidelined and TJ Yeldon mostly being limited to pass-catching duties, Gore could see upwards of 20 touches against a Bengals defense that was thrashed by the 49ers in Week 2 and the Seahawks in Week 1.
If you are still unsure about putting Frank Gore in your lineup, go watch the Mitch-a-Palooza scene in Old School. You won’t regret it.
Darren Waller – TE, OAK
Opponent – Minnesota Vikings
Price – $4,100
7.5 targets per game. 13.2 fantasy points per game. These are the numbers that the young TE is putting up and will continue to put up. Derek Carr loves to stay close to the line of scrimmage and views Waller as a security blanket when his receivers aren’t open.
While the Minnesota defense may be tough, Waller will still be utilized and targeted often throughout this football game. Don’t be surprised if he sees 10 targets on Sunday.
Kenny Golladay – WR, DET
Opponent – Philadelphia Eagles
Price – $6,600
According to NFL Next Gen Stats, this 31 yard Touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Kenny Golladay had only a 21.4-percent change of being completed. The 5th most “improbable completion” of Week 2.pic.twitter.com/Hdj7GStlYI— Erik Schlitt (@erikschlitt) September 16, 2019
Golladay is stepping it up this season and has become the big man on campus for the Detroit Lions. He’s found the endzone twice so far and is averaging 9.5 targets per game.
The Philly defense has allowed 340 passing yards per game and ranks 31st in the league against opposing WRs. Look for Golladay to do some serious damage this week.
