All you have to do is create a winning lineup on DraftKings with help from myself and our fantasy insiders on the Sneaky Plays podcast!
Here are our Week 16 Sneaky Plays to help you do it.
Nick Foles – QB, PHI
Opponent – Houston Texans
Price – $4,700
It’s official. Nick Foles is the hero of Philadelphia. Last week on Sunday Night Football, the veteran QB did his part in an Eagles victory over the tough Los Angeles Rams.
This week, Foles and the Birds host the Houston Texans — a team that struggled to keep rookie QB Sam Darnold and the Jets in check last week.
Look for the Eagles to keep rolling and for Foles to put up double-digit fantasy points once again, saving your lineup money in the process.
Nick Chubb – RB, CLE
Opponent – Cincinnati Bengals
Price – $7,300
Nick Chubb has been an absolute stud since becoming the starting RB for the Cleveland Browns in Week 7. Since that time, he is averaging 19.2 fantasy points per game.
This week, Chubb and the Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals — a team that I’ve picked on with success all season long. The Bengals defense ranks last in both total yards allowed per game and points allowed per game.
In Week 12 against Cinci, Chubb went off for 27.8 fantasy points. Don’t be shocked when he posts a similar stat line this week.
Marlon Mack – RB, IND
Opponent – New York Giants
Price – $5,500
Marlon Mack looks like a man on a mission for the Indianapolis Colts. Last week against a stout Dallas Cowboys run defense, Mack went off for 139 yards on the ground and 2 TDs.
This Sunday, the Colts are hosting the New York Giants — a team that ranks 28th in rushing yards allowed per game. Last week, the Giants allowed Derrick Henry to rush for over 170 yards against them.
Look for Mack to stay hot and thrash the lackluster run defense of the Giants.
Davante Adams– WR, GB
Opponent – New York Jets
Price – $8,500
Davante Adams has been the one steady player for the Packers all season long. The veteran WR is Aaron Rodgers’ most trusted target and that is not going to change any time soon.
Adams and the Packers head into New Jersey this weekend to take on the New York Jets, who happen to rank 31st against opposing WRs. The Jets are young and feisty, but they are still incapable of covering top WRs.
Over the last 10 games for Adams, he has logged less than 20 fantasy points only twice. Even at $8,500 this week, Adams is a safe play and will put up solid numbers once again.
Robert Foster – WR, BUF
Opponent – New England Patriots
Price – $4,900
Since finding his way into a starting role in Week 10, the undrafted rookie out of Alabama has been impressive, logging 94 or more receiving yards in 4 out of 5 games.
Robert Foster undoubtedly has big-play capability and is a long TD waiting to happen with the strong arm of his QB, Josh Allen. This week, Foster and the Bills head into New England. The Patriots defense is nothing to shy away from and the Bills offense should be able to score.
Look for Foster to see a bunch of targets down the field and find the end zone.
Alshon Jeffery – WR, PHI
Opponent – Houston Texans
Price – $5,300
I’m going to start this section off by highlighting that a #1 WR is priced at a demeaning $5,300. Alshon Jeffery is worth much more than that and he proved it last week by putting up 160 yards on 8 receptions.
Jeffery and Foles clearly have a connection and I don’t see them slowing down soon. The Eagles are hosting the Texans, a team that dislikes the cold weather and allowed Sam Darnold and the Jets to move the ball easily against them a week ago.
Look for Jeffery to see a ton of targets and capitalize on them.
Blake Jarwin – TE, DAL
Opponent – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Price – $3,000
Spending up at TE was costly last week and I am not one to make the same mistake twice. This week I’m staying cheap.
Blake Jarwin is the new starting TE for the Dallas Cowboys and has been impressive in his 2 starts, accumulating 7 targets in each contest. The Cowboys host the Bucs this week, a defense that ranks 27th in passing yards allowed per game.
It is clear as day that Dak Prescott is much more comfortable at home and it should bode well for all Cowboys pass catchers. Jarwin should get some looks early and often.
JuJu Smith-Schuster– FLEX, WR, PIT
Opponent – New Orleans Saints
Price – $8,000
I think it’s fair to say that JuJu is a favorite amongst all NFL fans. The kid is electric and makes big plays for the Steelers every single week.
JuJu and the Steelers head down to NOLA this Sunday to take on the Saints — a defense that ranks 32nd against enemy WRs. This game has shootout written all over it and it will be impossible for the Saints to contain both Antonio Brown and Smith-Schuster.
Averaging 91 receiving yards per game, JuJu is destined for a great Sunday this week.
Miami Dolphins – D/ST
Opponent – Jacksonville Jaguars
Price – $2,700
Here is my pitch for picking the Dolphins D/ST this weekend:
